This recognition is particularly rewarding due to its source—our employees! The award is based on results of a confidential employee survey covering nearly 55,000 employees across the region.
I wish that I could claim that winning an award like this is mostly driven by the charming personality of the CEO…but of course we know better than that! A great workplace can be influenced by many things—a fun and caring environment, recognition, a work hard/play hard culture, leadership, and success. But two factors stand out for me—respecting and being challenged by the people you work with every day, and being proud of the work you do.
At Learning.com we have a fantastic team—smart, ambitious, creative, challenging, and driven. And most of all, our team is energized about our mission of helping students, teachers and schools thrive in our increasingly digital world. Lots of companies work hard and have lots of success building great businesses. Here, we get to experience the joy and satisfaction of knowing that, when we are successful, we are helping kids become better positioned to achieve their future potential.
I’ve worked in some fantastic companies, and have been honored to run a few of them. I am so proud of the team we have here at Learning.com, and we are all so fortunate that we are able to work in a great company like this one.
