Lindy’s career began in a technology-equipped classroom, where she first blended teaching with technology. This sparked a journey into the world of supporting educators, encompassing roles in instructional technology, professional development, and curriculum design. In her current role, she works with ed-tech companies to meet K–12 educator needs and facilitate hands-on training for educators.

Dr. Kelli Erwin has worked in K-12 education for over 20 years as a classroom teacher, technology lab teacher, GT specialist, and district-level instructional specialist. New Artificial Intelligence Content for Back to School 2024

By providing students with instruction, practice and application of skills in the area of artificial intelligence, students are better able to interact with technology in an efficient, effective and safe way. They will build depth in information literacy and technology applications skills and set a foundation of understanding tied to machine learning, computer science and emerging technologies

4-5th Grade AI Content:

This curriculum offers a comprehensive learning experience through five engaging units. Each unit consists of three key components:

  • An interactive video
  • A teacher-led discussion
  • A hands-on grade specific project

 

6-12th Grade AI Content:

These are teacher led learning experiences. Teachers will have access to a dashboard with a full lesson plan and accompanying materials. Students will complete a reflection to evaluate their experience.

It is also embedded in the Online Safety and Digital Citizenship tile and is included in the blended learning paths. If students are working through an auto-scored path, only the videos will be included.
